Chico the Pekinese-Shih Tzu mix

Last week I photographed one of the cutest Pekinese-Shih Tzu mixes with the most adorable big eyes. His name is Chico and he LOVES attention. It was like he was born to model because he instantly knew what I wanted him to do without me having to tell him. If I thought, “Oh he would look awesome on that fireplace”, he immediately jumped up on top of it and made himself comfortable. It didn’t seem to bother him one bit that my camera was about 5 inches from his face.

During the middle of our session, Chico was getting sleepy, so he decided to take a little nap.

As the sun was setting, we brought the photo shoot to the backyard to catch some of the beautiful lighting.
